New Stroller

I ordered a umbrella stroller two days ago online from walmart.com for Aubriella. It arrived today. I didn't expect it until the end of next week. When we came home from the doctors I was surprised to see it sitting on the front porch.
I had done research about a month ago to see exactly what I wanted. First off and most importantly, I wanted something that would hold over 40 pounds. I was afraid she would grow to fast this summer and not be able to use the cheap ones. I also wanted something that had good reviews and was going to last. Price was also a factor. I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg not knowing how long she is actually going to realistically use it.
The jogging stroller I've had since Ella was born is a pain. I didn't do research before we bought it. It was a splurge on a whim for a good price. You can't run with it, it shakes to much. The straps were starting to get fight and just didn't fit right. And Ella could escape out of it.
I ended up choosing The First Years Jet Stroller. It holds up to 50 pounds, is still an umbrella stroller, is lightweight, folds small, has higher handles, cupholders, and storage underneath. It also was under $50. When I was looking it up online there was a few different color options. I was going to go with a more gender neutral color but Ella came over and said I want pink. I caved and got her the pink one. (can you tell she is spoiled)
As soon as I put it together she got in it and loved it. She wanted to go for a walk but it was raining outside so we just ended up walking around the house. Ella ended up spending most of the day playing in the stroller. She sat in it to watch tv, drank her bottle and relaxed, played with her Minnie Mouse toys.... When she finally fell asleep we put it away.

OMG 2 and a half

What happened to my sweet little innocent baby. It feels like yesterday I was still pregnant and getting ready to go to the hospital to be induced.

I remember her little round face and cubby cheeks. We use to sleep cheek to cheek. Cuddle all the time.

Now I got a little miss independent big girl who wants to "me do" all the time.

Who lights up my life with just a smile. Whenever having a bad day I just need her around to pick me up. She is my world. I do everything for her. I can't believe she is already officially 2 and a half. 30 months old. Gosh how does time fly. In another 2 and a half years she could potentially be in school. I don't want to think of that yet.
My little bundle of joy is so full of energy. We still co-sleep but she does have her own bed and sleeps in it when she wants to. (due to living situation we share a room) We are working on potty training. I am in no real rush and she does it when she wants to. Ella loves her "bubbles." She would stay in the tub all day if she could. It doesn't phase her at the least if the water is cold. The other day she stepped on the scale and was 35.4 pounds. I'm gonna have to measure her and see how tall she is.

New Month New Start

Its already April 1st. Where has the year gone? Back in February I decided to buy a new workout video, Slim in 6. I had borrowed it years ago from a friend and feel in love. At that time I wasn't ready to put forth the money to buy it. I made the commitment to myself that I want to get back in shape.

That was over a month ago and I haven't stuck to my commitment. I occasionally will do the video. I have although started eating clean. I limit my eating out and fast food. In the past month alone I have only had fast food once. I do however eat out once a week but I am still watching what I eat.
Now that it is a new month I am going to make some new realistic goals for myself. I am going to make myself accountable for a healthier lifestyle, to become in shape for myself and my daughter, I be comfortable in my own skin... I could keep going on what changes I want to make for myself.
I am going to start small and work my way up. I know I can't just expect myself to do it all at once. I know myself well enough that I will not do it.
Here are my goals for April:
- Exercise at least 4 days a week for 30 minutes a day
- Only 1 fast food trip

Personal Fitness Goals:
- Lose 5 pounds with an incentive of a new work out tank
- Fit in size 5 shorts with an incentive of new shoes

Now on a more fun personal level. For it being the first day in April it started off with a bang in the weather. I also had off which was a major plus. I started off the day by doing some cleaning around the house. After lunch I decided to take Ella to the park. She had a blast. She kept going down the slide and made a little boyfriend. I can't wait for more warm days to go outside and spend it with Ella.
