Play Date

Sometimes you just need a play date for the kids and some girl bonding time. One of my best friends, Heather and I had our sons 1 month apart. Our sons are going be best friends if they like it or not, lol. We don't get to see each other as much as we like, but are hoping to get together once a month for some girl talk and let the kids play.

The kids started off beating each other up. Austin isn't use to being around kids his age. He is use to his sister,5  and niece,4. This was a treat and surprise for someone to be smaller than him. After about 20 minutes they were all getting around great. The boys ended up playing, sharing, and kissing by the end of the day.

Heather's son Alex can walk, but doesn't walk a lot at home. He did more walking at my house than she had ever seen. I guess having the awesome influence of my wild child helped.

It was fun to have them over and watch the kids interact. They sometimes shared and they sometimes didn't. You expect that at their age.

We had to take our picture as evidence. Plus as picture of the kids together. Austin didn't want to cooperate. I ended up dancing around like a looney to get all of them to somewhat look at the camera at the same time. The things we do for our kids,
